TANNER ENGLISH ADVANCES TO SIXTH AT SHARON SPEEDWAY

(June 2, 2022) Benton, Kentucky ace Tanner English followed the World of Outlaws Case Construction Late Model Series tour to the Buckeye State for a pair of weekend events at Sharon Speedway in Hartford, Ohio on May 27-28. Tanner knocked down the ninth quickest lap in Group B during the qualifying session prior to grabbing the fourth and final transfer spot through his loaded heat race. He then started the 60-lapper from the outside of the seventh row before picking off eight competitors en route to a strong sixth place performance behind only winner Ryan Gustin, Shane Clanton, Josh Richards, Dennis Erb, Jr., and Devin Moran. The #81E Riggs Motorsports team will jump right back into dirt-slinging competition on June 2-3 in the St. Louis area. A DIRTcar Super Late Model battle will be held later tonight at Tri-City Speedway and a $5,000 top prize will be up for grabs. The World of Outlaws Case Construction Late Model Series will then storm into the Granite City, Illinois oval on Friday night to sanction a $10,000 to win shootout.
