RIGGS MAKES SUPER LM DEBUT; ENGLISH EARNS PAIR OF RUNNER-UPS!

7, 2022) Tanner English, of Benton, Kentucky, competed
in a trio of $10,000 to win DIRTcar Summer Nationals showdowns
in Illinois, Kentucky, and Tennessee from June 30-July 2. On Thursday
night at Fayette County Speedway in Brownstown, Illinois, Tanner
earned Fast Time honors of the 30 entrants during the qualifying
session and later placed second in his heat race. He then moved
up two spots during the course of the 50-lapper and battled for
the win late in the distance before settling for a strong runner-up
performance behind only victor Shannon Babb! (Josh

At Paducah International Raceway in Paducah, Kentucky
on Friday evening in a similar "Hell Tour" contest,
Tanner clicked off the quickest lap in his group during time trials,
won his heat race, and later placed second in the 30-lap feature
behind only race winner Bobby Pierce. In the weekend finale on
Saturday at Clarksville Speedway in Clarksville, Tennessee, yet
another $10,000 top prize was up for grabs. Tanner ran third in
his loaded heat race and after a rain delay, he was able to advance
up to eighth in the 40-lap headliner.
Fellow Riggs Motorsports teammates Jack Riggs and
Jason Riggs were also in action with Tanner during the action-packed
week with the DIRTcar Summer Nationals. Jack made his Super Late
Model debut on Tuesday, June 28 in finishing eighteenth in a $5,000
to win series race at the newly reopened Red Hill Raceway in Sumner,
Illinois. After a B-Main incident took him out of contention for
a transfer spot in Thursday's visit to Fayette County (IL) Speedway,
Jack wound up eighteenth in the final rundown on Friday at PIR.
His brother Jason was also in action at Paducah, as he placed
second in his heat race before nabbing a solid ninth place effort
in the 30-lapper. Complete results from each of these "Hell

Each of the respective #81 teams are set to rejoin
the DIRTcar Summer Nationals tour this upcoming weekend at a trio
of different racetracks in the states of Illinois and Indiana.
Tanner will compete for the $10,000 winner’s check on both
Friday night, July 8 at Farmer City Raceway in Farmer City, Illinois
and at Highland Speedway in Highland, Illinois on Saturday evening,
July 9. his weekend finale will then take place on Sunday, July
10 with $5,000 on the line at Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt,
Indiana. Jack Riggs is scheduled to join in the fun at both Farmer
City and Haubstadt, while Jason Riggs is slated to unload his
XR1 Rocket Chassis at Haubstadt only. Additional information can
